Dan Evans
Dan has over 25 years of experience in the worlds of traditional and digital marketing, heading the client service, strategy and creative functions across a wide range of client engagements. Dan plays the role of leader, business strategist and creative thinker, working with client teams to drive the best results for our clients.
Prior to co-founding Evans Hunt, Dan was previously President at Critical Mass. His local passions include digitally focused, civic-minded work for Calgary Economic Development, Tourism Calgary, Sport Calgary and others.
Heather Ilsley
Heather has 17 years experience in marketing strategy, digital strategy, and measurement. She has spent the majority of her career in senior marketing roles at technology companies before joining Vovia in 2011. In her role at Vovia she manages key account relationships, leads integrated digital strategy development, and works with the talented Vovia team to execute on the strategy and ensure ongoing growth for clients. She is passionate about how technology is changing the media landscape and is a huge advocate for integrating first-party data to improve campaign performance and drive profit.
John Boyd
As Media Director at Venture Communications John’s career in media has spanned two provinces, five ad agencies, 19 years, hundreds of campaigns, and billions of rows in thousands of spreadsheets for tons of clients.
He is a big data lover, unapologetic article forwarder, and frequent meme maker.
Kevin Wilhelm
Kevin is the President and founder of POD Marketing, a digital agency here in Calgary that has been recognized by Google as one of Canada’s fastest growing agencies. He has consulted with hundreds of businesses to provide brand, marketing and sales strategies. Kevin is also a regular contributor to business magazines and a speaker for international conferences.
Nasser Sahlool – MODERATOR
Nasser is responsible for steering digital strategy for DAC clients. Leveraging his expertise in digital marketing, local and mobile conversion, performance optimization and benchmarking, he leads a team of strategists and researchers to design and implement high performing programs that connect buyers and sellers at exactly the right moment. Nasser is a frequent speaker, having presented at such digital forums as Cannes Lions, AdAge Brand Summit and Google Engage. He has also led sessions for both the American and Canadian Marketing Associations.
