The Conference Board of Canada expects oil-sands production to increase by an average of 4.2 percent a year for the next five years. Alberta is also seeing some movement on energy infrastructure projects. It’s a good sign that the provincial economy may start to see a turnaround this year. However, unemployment is sitting at around 7 percent, and there are challenges ahead.
How should brands in the province be leveraging technology to market their products and services? What marketing channels are expected to be most effective in 2020? How can they be optimized?
Do companies need to be mindful of any misconceptions that might exist outside the province, either nationally or internationally? How can traditional and emerging companies work together to ‘sell’ the province as a great place to do business?
